Safir Konak

Bought and renovated by a couple from Istanbul who now run the hotel, this beautifully restored 9-room mansion house is located in the UNESCO protected town of Safranbolu in the western Black Sea region of Turkey. Furnished in the local style with carved wooden ceilings and floors, the rooms are decorated with local artefacts and have colourful Turkish rugs on the floors. Other features include a restaurant and bar and a beautiful garden complete with rose arbour. The centre of Safranbolu is less than 20 minutes walk away and can be reached by public transport which runs nearby.
