The Hotel is located at the Southern tip of the Island within the Sleat Peninsula. This part of the island is often referred to as the Garden of Skye due to its lush vegetation. The village of Ardvasar is located just south of the ferry terminal at Armadale. A small, peaceful village, the hotel commands a prime position overlooking the sea. Within the village there is a shop and post office.The Ardvasar Hotel was built in the early 1800's with a welcoming reception area, restaurant and a bar.The hotel offers a high standard of accommodation in all ten bedrooms. All rooms have bath and shower, tea & coffee making facilities with hospitality tray, direct dial telephone, colour television, hair dryer.The sea view rooms offer stunning views across the Sound of Sleat.The hotel has an excellent reputation for food using the highest quality of fresh ingredients. including Lobster, Scallops, Crab and Salmon ,beef and lamb from Speyside. An a la carte menu is also available.Take the Road to the Isles from Fort William to Mallaig (the A830). The ferry from Mallaig to Armadale is a short ferry crossing of 30 minutes. When you arrive at Armadale drive for just 400 m and then turn left into the village of Ardvasar. Drive for a further 800 m and the hotel is located on the right hand side.
