La Plagne is situated in a unique site in the Savoie, in the heart of the Tarentaise opposite Mont Blanc. It is a group of interconnected high-altitude village resorts at elevations ranging from 1,250 to 2,100 m. This lively, family-orientated sports resort is also a departure point for the glacier. The shops and services are about 200 m away. Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport is about 196 km away and Geneva International Airport is at about 149 km. The residence has the appearance of a traditional village comprised of chalet-type buildings which are made of wood and stone and fit perfectly into the surrounding area. The ski hotel was renovated in 2010 and has a total of 168 guest rooms. There is a kid's club available for children. For adults, there is a bar, pub and a restaurant on site.
